Claire & Paul – Just Because

Claire just so happens to be an amazing photographer herself so when she asked me to photograph her and her handsome hubby Paul, I’m not going to lie I was honored and nervous.

Needless to say – after the shoot started, my nerves settled down and I think we got some awesome shots.

Claire and Paul -

Thank you for asking ME out of the sea of photographers, ME to photograph you. I’m so honored. I hope you love them as much as I do. I think it’s always important to take pictures with the one you love, EVEN AFTER THE WEDDING!!! I hope we do this year after year.

Amanda’s Senior Pictures

Kerry’s baby bump

If you were to look up the definition of “pregnancy glow” in the dictionary – you’d see Kerry’s face.

We of course had to add Kerry and JK’s daughter Kaylan to the picture. She’s so excited to be a big sister!!

Kaylan was a trooper, I think it was a whopping 32 degrees outside.

Emily & Pete – Just because

Emily contacted me a few weeks ago and wanted some new pictures of her and her husband Pete. At the end of her email I noticed that their signature also included their logo and website information – AKA – they are photographers – and GOOD photographers!!! When I responded to her with an EXCITED – I WOULD LOVE TO…I would be telling you a lie if I also didn’t admit that I was also a bit nervous. Anytime I’m photographing another photographer – there is a lot of pressure. What if I don’t live up to their expectations?? What if they don’t like me?? The second they stepped out of their car – all of my nervousness went away. My heart fell in LOVE instantly. Emily is absolutely BEAUTIFUL…and Pete well – let’s just say that his smile…watch out ladies…it can MELT YOU!!! To add to their ridiculous good looking exterior – they are also some of the most genuine and sweet people I’ve ever met. I’m blessed – they asked…me, out of all the other people that could have done it…this time…they asked me. Thank you guys. xoxoxoxo

I can’t thank you enough for letting me be a part of your lives and asking me to shoot the two of you.

You both have such an amazing love for each other, it’s a blessing to have been there to see it, and capture it.

I hope we do it again, sooner than later. Perhaps when it’s not 34 degrees out and the WINDS AREN’T SWEEPING THROUGH THE PLAINS (inside joke) – wink wink.

Fact: Julia is probably one of the smallest little munchkins I’ve ever photographed. TEENY Tiny.

Fact: Probably one of my very favorite mother/father/newborn baby pictures pictures was taken at her session

Fact: I love her nickname – Ju Ju Fruit

Fact: Amanda was one of the cutest pregnant girls of all time….

and there is is…..ahhhh…just beautiful.
